Harsco uses a range of techniques for achieving efficiencies on the front line and back office of our operations.
Harsco has developed its own proprietary training program, aimed at managers, taking the principles developed by Toyota and Motorola for 'Lean' manufacturing and applying them to services. We operate a workshop-based Lean Certification training programme, to ensure that Harsco Metals managers are equipped to deploy formal Continuous Improvement to their own site operations over the whole life of the contract.
Our experienced Lean-certified management teams are able to work with customers to map the value flow, in order to identify improvement opportunities and deliver tangible efficiencies.
