The core of our safety system is to have Risk Assessment/JSA, and Safe Work Procedures for all our activities.
Harsco believes that managing Safety, Health, Environment and Quality is a fundamental competence of good management. Harsco is working towards worldwide triple certification (OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety, ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO14001 Environmental Management) at all our sites, something we have already achieved in several major markets.
We have documented Group Best Practices for all major activities and operating risks. To ensure that these standards are applied, we systematically audit against these at site, regional, divisional and corporate levels.
